We came into contact with Maxgaming in 2021 when they were exploring the possibilities of taking the first step into automation. From evaluating simpler solutions, such as conveyor systems for moving stuff from A to B and sorted manually, to having the entire process done automatically.
The solution we finally agreed upon was an automatic sorting system run by e-motion's DWS with two associated modular sorting modules and belt conveyors.
The value of capturing data about each individual shipment (weight, volume, time stamps, etc.) and easily making the information accessible in the existing WMS, gives Maxgaming enormous control over its process. Whether it's customer service issues or freight negotiations with their couriers.
The scalability of the hardware means that an expansion never becomes a major project. Recently, they have chosen to expand their sorting with another module (four new sorting points) since the need has changed from the day we first got to know each other.
