We came into contact with Maxgaming in 2021, as they were exploring the possibilities of taking the first step into automation. We started out evaluating simpler solutions, such as conveyor systems for moving items from A to B with manual sorting, to having the entire process done automatically.
The solution we finally agreed on was an automatic sorting system run by e-motion’s DWS with two associated modular sorting modules and belt conveyors.
The value of collecting data on each individual shipment (weight, volume, time stamps, etc.) and making the information easily accessible in the existing WMS, gives Maxgaming enormous control over its process. Whether it’s customer service issues or shipping negotiations with their couriers.
The scalability of the hardware makes expansion a non-issue. Recently, they have chosen to expand their sorting by adding another module (with four new sorting points), as their business has grown since we first met.
