Twinroll is a Swedish company based in Sundsvall that manufactures nicotine pouches with a strong focus on quality, innovation, and sustainability. The company offers both its own brands and white-label solutions, as well as wholesale and logistics services. With rapid growth and a modern warehouse operation, Twinroll is an emerging player in the international market.
We first connected with Twinroll in 2021, but it wasn’t until 2024 that discussions gained momentum as the company began planning a new warehouse solution. They were looking for a way to manage fluctuating volumes and optimize staffing, and we presented a solution that automated the entire packing flow to meet their need for scalability and precision.
Previously, Twinroll handled around 100–120 orders per shift and full-time employee in a manual process. As staffing was partly arranged in collaboration with local sports clubs, new operators often needed to be trained quickly, creating bottlenecks and making it more difficult to scale operations during periods of higher volumes.
Together, we developed a solution combining e-Seal, DWS, and automated sorting. By automating previously manual processes, parcels can now be sealed, weighed, measured, and sorted without manual handling, creating a smoother and more reliable flow throughout the order fulfilment process.
The result is a more efficient and scalable solution, enabling Twinroll to handle orders with less dependence on manual training and staffing. With key processes automated, the operation is better equipped to support continued growth and manage seasonal fluctuations with greater precision.
