When we first connected with Kids Brand Store in late 2022, their entire logistics operation was handled manually. Together, we began with a needs assessment to identify the areas of the business with the greatest potential for improved efficiency. The conclusion was that sorting would be the first step, both to automate the handling of outbound parcels and to enable more efficient picking routes without having to sort orders by carrier during the picking process.
The first solution was installed in 2024 and consisted of conveyor systems, a scanning arch and sorting modules. When the business later relocated, the solution was expanded with a curved conveyor, and an additional sorting module was added during the next expansion. Thanks to its scalable design, these upgrades could be carried out quickly with minimal disruption to daily operations.
The result was a more efficient logistics flow, with automated sorting and a simplified picking process. The solution has contributed to faster picking, fewer manual tasks and provided Kids Brand Store with a logistics platform that can grow alongside the business.
