TURA Scandinavia is a leading distributor of consumer electronics. In addition to consumer electronics, they also have a wide range of professional photo, video and graphics products.
They primarily supply products to Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland. The company was founded in 1976 and has since grown both customer-wise and logistics-wise, and that’s where we have been able to create an optimal flow.
TURA Scandinavia is, in our opinion, a role model when it comes to automation and logistics. They chose to invest in automation early on and have had good results in terms of profitable growth as a result.
We at e-motions came into the picture in 2019, when TURA became our first client in automatic parcel sorting. The sorting facility has a capacity of 3,500 parcels per hour and consists of a roller conveyor system and our DWS hub, where the pre-packed parcels are scanned, weighed and sized. The parcels are then sorted in our modular sorting section.
“This was an important piece of the puzzle. Smooth parcel sorting is essential when your e-commerce starts to grow. For us, it was also important to choose a local actor, as it’s always easier when you speak the same language. The alternative would have been to buy from a major European actor.”
